5* for their vegetarian chive pockets / boxes, black sesame filled fried sesame balls, and taro buns! Their chive boxes / pockets are vegetarian-friendly, and so delicious that I'll periodically make a trip down from the city just to stock up on them! Their taro buns are also really satisfying (not too sweet, which is one of the highest compliments an asian person can give), and our whole family loves the fried sesame balls that are filled with black sesame - a rare treat and not something I've encountered elsewhere.

WOWWWW deeply impressed. super home made and quality taste!! got pork buns, beef buns, thousand layer meat pie, 2 kinds of sticky rice in bamboo leafs, one purple rice roll with pork song and Chinese donut, 2 diff kinds of sesame pastries and one sesame walnut moon cake! everything was really good! some of the highlight below: -the dough of thousand layer meat pie was so chewy and much better than i thought. -Beef buns were a special and they were super flavorful and very generous of the filling too! -Pork buns were probably the only things that were not "as special" since i have had better elsewhere but still, it's that homey taste i really like!

Nice place strangely enough. After driving by here multiple times I managed to come here. The food is really good and makes a good grab and go. Note: There is like no place to sit so your best bet is to grab the food you like and go. There seems to be a lot of dough related foods as well as some Taiwanese specialties. They also have some cool drinks here from TW aside from other selections that you see in the US. The service is nice in the way whomever helped me explained everything for me to understand. Drawback: Signs are in Chinese and if you cannot read it things can be difficult. However this doesn't mean GIVE UP. The staff was nice enough to explain everything in English if needed. I was amazed by how they responded back in English. Don't be shocked if they do. I don't like the prices but it is what it is.
